The Primal Run range is perfect for everything from spey to swing.

Fishing for anadromous fish is very much zero to hero. One day all you do is cast, the next day you’re reaching for your camera to photograph the donkey brown you just scratched up from the deep. The Primal Run Fly Rod rods will cast everything from short chuck and duck skagit heads to making smooth hero casts with scandi’s, so on the casting days you’ll have the right rod in hand, and when the fish are in the river, well we’ve got that covered too.

Primal Run Two Handed Fly Rod 6 Weight Features:

ULTRALIGHT HELICAL CORE - We start with our UHC technology of an ultra-light helical core to support hoop strength and stabilise the blank in flex.
AMPLIFIED NANO RESIN - This is overlaid with high modulus fibres reinforced with our amplified nano resin which reinforces the blank without dampening the graphite fibres.
LOW MASS SCRIM - Primal’s low mass scrim technology maximises hoop strength without dampening the rod via adding additional weight like traditional glass scrims.
LONGITUDINAL FIBRE ALIGNMENT - At Primal we use custom off axis prepregs that, when rolled, ensure the important longitudinal fibres are aligned along the length of the blank. The result is more feel, improved energy flow throughout the cast and lightning quick recovery rates.
CODURA ROD TRAVEL TUBE - With carry strap and cloth rod bag.
